Though considered to have been derived from the android of the 1990s Atari Lynx game 'Gauntle: The Third Encounter', even if this is the logo artist's inspiration, it seems reasonable to question if this was itself not inspired by 'Metal Mickey' in a British TV series of the 1980s? Produced by Mickey Dolenz of 'Monkees' fame it also possibly inspired the also very Android logo like Dancer..Exe Mp3 visualisation plug-in'
